Abstract

The 12th ACM Conference on Security and Privacy (ACM WiSec) will be held from May 14 to May 17, 2019 in Miami Beach, FL at Royal Palm South Beach Hotel, a Marriott Hotel & Resort in the heart of South Beach. ACM is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. ACM WiSec is a leading ACM and SIGSAC conference dedicated to to all aspects of security and privacy in Internet-of-Things, wireless and mobile networks and their applications, mobile software platforms, usable security and privacy, biometrics, Cyber-Physical Systems. WiSec is a very competitive, high quality conference, and is very-well attended by industry, government, the military, and academia to share information, network, explore ideas, and learn about emerging trends and today’s hottest and most provocative cybersecurity topics. The conference program includes the main conference with 29 papers and 34 posters/demos from around the world (from 40 different institutions), a tutorial on 5G Security, a workshop on Wireless Security and Machine Learning, several keynotes from top security researchers, live demos, posters, exhibitor displays, and a federal funding panel on security and privacy. Keynotes include world-renown security and privacy researchers from both industry and academia. We will also have a security and privacy funding panel, which include program managers from US Army Research Office, National Science Foundation, and IARPA. So, this event is a great opportunity for like-minded colleagues, students to attend and learn from the pioneers in the security and privacy field and connect with program managers. Also, this would be of interest to anyone looking for professional development activities for their individual certificates as well.
